I don't agree, but that's ok. I tried playing with sliders but it doesn't have an appreciable difference to it. They're not massive improvements.
You have to be careful not to chase the puck, as if you do, the AI will absolutely punish you with the high slot or backdoor one timer. More I clicked on every opt out this game throws at you and yet I still got an email from EA today, with no unsubscribe option. So I read their privacy statement, here are some highlights. They record your passwords and probably sell them , security questions also likely sold to advertisers , your phone number, your date of birth, what device you are using, your favorite browser you use on that device, what software it has installed, your IP, referring and landing pages and what pages were viewed They know how you got to their site from whatever site before it. I for one made sure to opt out of everything this game tried to get me to do, and I still ended up on this. More First of all the AI function is about the same as someone playing bubble hockey. No new content besides mascots which is the least most important thing. At least once a period my player skates circles around the puck while someone on the other team picks it up from 6 feet away for a free breakaway. More EA has learned nothing from their mistakes. You feel like you're battling your own team more so than any of your opponents. EA should be embarrassed by how awful the AI is in this game. Passing is a hair-ripping disappointment; as even simple passes are fumbled. The player ability seems more on-par with peewee league than professional. Poke checks are hit or miss but when they do work, the puck doesn't like to follow the laws of physics, as it is more content to bounce like a basketball in a pure random fashion. If you are a hockey player and very familiar with the sport, you will often wonder if the developers have ever actually seen a hockey game. Do yourself a favor and leave this abomination in the digital toilet where it belongs. More NHL 18 is the same lousy cut and pasted unplayable garbage as last year and the year before and the year before and the year before and the year before. The only way to break this trend is to STOP BUYING EA GAMES. Someday after huge profit decreases the pathetic QA team and the lazy incapable 'software engineers' of EA CANADA will be removed and maybe we'll see some signs of intelligence from the development staff of what was once a fun playable game. Until that happens this game isn't worth the time i wasted writing this review. My advice to anyone is don't get NHL18 even if its free. This game is a terribly presented lousy weak disgraceful inaccurate negative representation of the NHL. Do yourself a favor and refuse to allow yourself be tortured and mentally abused by trying to play it; you would be better off rolling around naked in a pit of broken glass while on fire.
